Traditional home elevators

A traditional home elevator is what most people picture: a cab that runs in a built shaft, with a door on each floor and a finished interior you choose. It's the fit when you're building or renovating and can frame the shaft into the plan, and it gives you the widest choice of cab size and finish. We install traditional home elevators across Louisiana and Alabama.

Why people choose a traditional elevator

  • It looks built-in. A door on each floor — the finished, permanent look of a standard elevator.
  • The widest choice of finish. Cab size, doors, walls, lighting and fixtures are yours to choose.
  • Best planned into construction. The natural fit for a new build or a full renovation.
  • Serves multiple floors. Built for the number of floors your home needs.

Cibes Symmetry Antera

The Antera is Cibes Symmetry's luxury home elevator — a machine-room-less screw-drive elevator that goes into a shaft you build or into the supplied modular glass or steel shaft. The Antera serves up to 6 floors, and comes with natural wood walls, illuminated panels and a mirrored ceiling, with finish options that make the elevator read as part of the architecture. It's built for custom homes and penthouses, and for renovations where the elevator is meant to be seen. Ask us and we'll tell you whether it fits your plans.
