Managing the stairs.

A staircase you've started to plan your day around — up once in the morning, down once at night, and thinking twice about the trips in between. A stairlift lets you ride the stairs you already have, as many times a day as you want, without moving the bedroom downstairs or closing off the top floor.

What you can count on

Our own installers on every job; a written quote that carries the price, the timing and the warranty; nobody pushing you; and the name of the person in charge of your job.

Straight stairs or a staircase that turns

The right stairlift depends on the shape of your staircase.

  • A straight stairlift fits a staircase that runs in one line with no turn. It's a standardized unit — one of the faster things we install, and often the more affordable of the two.
  • A curved stairlift is built for a staircase that turns, curves, or has a landing. The rail is measured and made to the shape of your stairs, so it takes longer to get in, and costs more.

Tell us the shape of your stairs — or send a photo — and we'll tell you which one you need. The models and specifications are on the stairlifts page.

How it goes

A call or request a quote (and a photo of your stairs if you have one), and a written quote — the price, the timing, the warranty, and the name of the person in charge of your job — with no pressure to decide on the spot. Our installers show you how to use it before they leave.

Will a stairlift fit my stairs?
Almost any staircase can take one — straight stairs take a standard rail, and stairs that turn take a rail measured and built to their shape. We look at your stairs and tell you which one fits, in the quote.
Does it damage the staircase?
A stairlift mounts to the treads, not the wall. If it's taken out later, the mounting leaves small marks in the treads, and those are easy to repair. We go over exactly how it attaches before you commit.
How quickly can it go in?
A straight stairlift is one of the faster things we install; a curved one is measured and built to your stairs, so it takes longer. We'll give you the real timeline for yours in writing — see when something happened if you're working against a discharge date.

The top floor should stay yours to use. Get a written quote for a stairlift — the price, the timing and the warranty, up front. Serving Louisiana and Alabama.
