Tell us which part of the house you want back, and we'll show you what fits. We install home elevators, platform lifts, stairlifts, wheelchair ramps, ceiling lifts and dumbwaiters across Louisiana and Alabama — with the price, the timing and the warranty in writing before you commit to anything.

Start with the part of the house you want back

You don't have to know the name of the thing you need:

What we install

Home elevators

A cab that carries you and a wheelchair between floors, so the whole house stays part of how you live. Three ways one goes into a home: a vacuum elevator (PVE) in a self-supporting tube with no separate shaft, pit or machine room; a traditional elevator (Cibes Symmetry, Fox Valley) in a built shaft, with custom cab finishes, for new construction and full renovations; and a through-floor elevator (the Cibes Symmetry Ascenda) that rises through an opening between two floors, for a home you already live in.

Platform lifts

A platform that carries a wheelchair or scooter and its rider straight up — to a raised porch or deck, or between floors. The Harmar Highlander 2 for shorter rises, indoors or out; the Cibes Symmetry for enclosed, multi-floor travel indoors. The fit when a ramp would run too long and a full elevator is more than you need.

Stairlifts

A seat on a rail that carries you up and down the stairs you have. Straight-rail models for straight staircases, and a custom curved rail for stairs with a turn or a landing, by Harmar. Straight units are often in stock.

Wheelchair ramps

Modular aluminum ramps by National Ramp, in the Liberty and Breeze systems — sized to your rise at a safe slope, with landings and turns as the entry needs, removable and reconfigurable. Front steps, side and back entries, short rises to a porch. Usually installed in a day or two.

Ceiling lifts

A track fixed to the ceiling and a motor that carries a person in a sling along it — bed to chair, chair to bathroom — so nobody lifts by hand. The Mackworth TX600.

Dumbwaiters

For loads, not people: the compact Hide-A-Waiter by Staying Home for laundry baskets and grocery bags, and the Cable Waiter by Fox Valley for heavier loads and larger cars.

What people mean by "lift"

A seat that rides up your staircase is a stairlift. A platform that carries a wheelchair straight up between floors, or up to a raised porch, is a platform lift (a vertical platform lift, or VPL). A cab that carries you the way an elevator does is a home elevator. Tell us the problem and we'll name the right one.

Which one is right for my home?
It depends on what you're solving and how your house is built. Reaching a full floor points to a home elevator; getting a wheelchair up a short rise points to a platform lift or a ramp; a staircase you can still walk points to a stairlift; transfers within a room point to a ceiling lift. Tell us the problem and we'll tell you what fits, in the quote.
Is there anything you don't install?
We sell and install new equipment only — nothing used, refurbished or rented, and nothing bought somewhere else.

Building or specifying for a project?

We work from your drawings and coordinate on dimensions and dates, with our own crew on the install.
