PVE52 vacuum elevator, Gretna

PVE52 vacuum elevator · Gretna, Louisiana · 2019

White-framed clear vacuum elevator tube in a wallpapered entry hall with a black marble floor and a curved staircase behind — Installed by Michael, Kendall, Carl and Dillan, before Gulf South Elevator was formed.

A PVE52, the wheelchair-accessible vacuum model, in a formal entry hall in Gretna. The white frame picks up the trim and the staircase balusters, and the tube stands on the marble floor beside the stairs with no pit beneath it.

The cab and door are sized for a wheelchair and its rider.
